New Day - New Opportunities
In 1928, a young man named Felix Pscheidle waited in line for hours to compete for a job as a sales person for NCR. At the time, the company was known as The National Cash Register. He was excited to learn that he was selected out of nearly 100 candidates for the one position available at the time.
When Felix ran home to inform his mother that he had a job with a great company, she was not as excited as he expected her to be. When he asked her why, she explained that she started paying close attention to the retail establishments in the area when she learned he had an interest in NCR and noticed that most shops already had an NCR machine. She pondered, “What will this company sell in five years?”
NCR has been answering this question for 127 years.
Now the new NCR will continue to bring answers to our customers, our partners and one another.
Just as Felix was chosen out of many – we have been chosen to lead on! Let’s answer the bell as one.
